Prerequisites

Access Prerequisites

SSI Advanced Freediver certification or equivalent
Training Techniques specialty
BLSD + Oxygen Provider certification

Training Techniques and BLSD/Oxygen Provider courses can also be completed during the FITC.

Completion Requirements

15-minute survival float
400 m swim in 15 minutes or 800 m with fins
Static apnea: 3’30”
Dynamic bi-fins: 60 m
Constant weight dive: 30 m
5 dives to 15 m with 1’ recovery
Rescue from 15 m with 1’ stop
Rescue from 15 m + 50 m tow
Freediver quiz: 50 questions, 100% correct
Instructor quiz: 100 questions, 80% correct
Positive academic evaluation
Positive pool practical session
Positive deep-water practical session
Positive breathing lesson evaluation
