Hi, I’m Giovanni Bianco
I’ve spent years exploring the depths of the ocean and helping others master the art of freediving. Now, I want to guide you on your own underwater journey.
My name is Giovanni Bianco
...and my life changed the day I stopped looking at the sea from above and started listening to it from within.
For years, I worked as a navigation officer, sailing across oceans and distant ports. But only when I discovered freediving did I truly understand what it means to feel part of the sea. That silence, that calm, that held breath that brings you back to yourself—that’s where I found my path.
I guide people on a journey
Since 2013, I’ve been teaching freediving. But “teaching” doesn’t quite describe it. I guide people on a journey—not just downward, but inward. Equalization became my field of research and specialization, because that’s often where the real breakthrough happens: in the ability to let go, to trust, to go deeper.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with champions, air rescue professionals, instructors, and passionate divers from all over the world. I co-founded Share Equalization to make this knowledge accessible to all, because I believe that the right technique, shared the right way, can open entire worlds.
Freediving is a way of life
But my greatest joy is always the same: that spark in someone’s eyes when they realize they can do it. That they can go down, stay there, and trust themselves—and the sea.
That’s why I do this. Because freediving isn’t just a discipline. It’s a way of life. And sharing it is, every single day, my greatest privilege.
